Working Principle

Image Acquisition: The high-resolution camera installed on the equipment captures images of the production date, batch code, and other characters on the food packaging bags in real-time as the packaging bags pass through the detection area on the production line.

Image Processing and Character Recognition: The acquired images are transmitted to the advanced image processing system. First, the system performs a series of image pre-processing operations such as noise reduction, contrast enhancement, and image binarization to improve the clarity of the characters. Then, using advanced optical character recognition (OCR) technology and deep-learning-based character recognition algorithms, the system compares the characters in the image with the pre-set standard character library to identify and analyze the characters.

Defective Product Judgment and Rejection: If the recognized characters do not match the pre-set standards (such as incorrect production dates, wrong batch codes, or unreadable characters), the control system will judge the packaging bag as a defective product and send a rejection signal to the rejection device. The rejection device then executes the rejection operation according to the pre-set mode to remove the defective product from the production line.
